Day 3–Route 9

Snapshot_098
So today I decide to take a little cruise before finding something else to do. I decide to go through this quaint small area, and found another bus stop along  the road side. Odd I never really see many buses, but yet always a bus stop. So I hop off my bike and take a break for a while. It’s amazing to see thing that I’m seeing during my travels. Oh yes, I almost forgot to change my clothes, so I ran real quick to a place to change my clothes, did just that and decided it was time to take a new ride along Route 9. As I was driving along the highway, I ran across some train tracks. Odd I didn’t think there was a train in SL on the main roads. But sure enough there is.
Snapshot_084 Low and behold a set of train tracks with the lights going, So I stop and look both ways, Odd no train. Something must have triggered this  though, where is it? Is beyond me.
Snapshot_086
So I cautiously proceed across the tracks, and start to travel down the road further, then find a spot that I can change my outfit as this one smells like the road. Icky if you ask me, Oh well, I’ll wash them later on today or tomorrow. As I’m traveling down this road it all of a sudden slopes downward, so I back down into 1st gear, and slowly take it easy unsure where this road will go, when I notice water

Max Headroom?? Wow I haven’t heard nor seen that name in so long, if you know who I’m talking about then you’ll probably laugh at this sign, but none the less I didn’t see him at all, what a rip off too!! HOLY SHIT this road is going to swallow into the water. Hold on as I don’t know where this will lead, but I’m hoping I don’t sink and stay at the bottom for long.

Snapshot_090Snapshot_091

Wow so it’s an underwater tunnel, cool. I have only heard about these, and never have seen them often. It’s a unique trip that I’m on for sure now, at least the water is safe for the time being. WTF is that floating around, upon further inspection I see it’s a catfish. That reminds me, I’m hungry. Oh well time to break for a moment and grab some lunch.
Snapshot_092Snapshot_093
Damn will this end soon? I want to see the daylight again, and explore the open road, not the open sea. Not that I’m really complaining this is the type of stuff I love to do. All this traveling. Hope everyone is having fun today as I sure am.

Snapshot_094Snapshot_095
Ah finally I see it’s time to climb the hill coming out of that long tunnel that I never thought I’d see daylight, but ahhhh to breath that fresh oxygen we’re all so happy to, and sometimes take for granted.

Snapshot_097WHERE’S THE BEEF???? Yes we’ll see a lot of strange things along this stretch of road. Still it’s a refreshing, and as you can see, this was before the outfit change. I think the smell of the cattle is what really made me find a quaint spot to change real fast. Ewww, please tell me that is not what I think that is on my tire, or even my sneaker. Phew, no it was just mud, I would have been extremely upset if I had step in cow crap. That’s a smell thing I don’t wish to endure. Anyways hope you have a great day, and I’ll keep everyone updated on the travels!!!

Have a great day/night where ever you are!!! Until Next time. Live Free, and Ride Hard!!

Day Two of current travel

Snapshot_011 Today marked the 2nd day I’m traveling on the road. Traveling along the road I stop and spot something of keen interested to me. It’s a video phone. So while trying to figure out who to call I receive this phone call from a mole. Same one I’ve seen working hard on the main roads that allow for people like myself to travel. He begins to tell me that things are looking up for us, and that the weather shouldn’t be a factor on the roads. Oh good, because I was worried about my chopper getting rusty. It gets dusty , but never rusty, so I don’t normally ride it out in bad weather. Before ending that call. He tells me to watch out for the crazies that are on the road tonight. I thanked him, but it left me a little stumped as to why he would say something like this to me. I haven’t seen much cars/trucks, let alone a single soul since I started driving. It wasn’t until the next bend that I saw what he meant.

Snapshot_033 WHT?? Are you kidding me? Someone is sending out the tanks now. WTF is the world coming to? Sending out tanks to ride on the main roads is just wow. I really decide to pay no attention to it, and just figure if I don’t bother them they won’t bother me. Man talk about being wrong. Snapshot_035

Suddenly it turns around and starts to follow me, or did I turn around, really unsure about this, but then I decided to stop on the side of the road and wait for it to pass, hoping that someone was driving it, but man I was not ready for what I saw next.

Snapshot_036

It looks like it’s cannon is targeted right on me, and I’m curious as to if it will fire upon me, low and behold as I make it a little further into the area, it becomes night fall and this is what I get for stopping for just a moment.

Damn ok I’m done traveling for today. I need to recover from having a bullet fired upon me and my chopper. More adventures will continue tomorrow once I’m fully recovered. Enjoy

Route 9 in Second Life

So today I decided to clear out my garage in my inventory and decided it was time to travel the roads less traveled anymore. I picked a place I knew well on the map, and headed there. When I landed. I didn't see nothing that was of interest to anyone including myself. So as I hop on my hog, I start going down Route 9, one of many roads that can be traveled and it's often not. I was debating on checking some local scenes. I found nothing but open road until I happen across a Motel in the middle of nowhere. I couldn't go up the hill to the motel as it was blocked off, but when I was able to sneak off and catch a glimpse off a neighboring land what did I see. Not a motel at all. How much of a rip off this is. I was going to offer them some money to crash so I could write about their quaint little Motel. Never mind, the road seems to be the more friendly to people that are traveling as of late.

So as I'm traveling further down Route 9 I spot a bus stop. Odd place for a bus stop if you tell me, but none the less good place I can kick back for a bit, smoke a cigarette, grab a drink, and head out onto the road yet again. This is one vampyr that loves to travel the roads that are less traveled. You'll never know what ventures I'll find along the way. Just hope I don't run out of gas, or worse yet, those invisible lines that throw you into a fit of rage, not a good thing to happen while on ones hog!! Until next time.

If you're interested in sitting at the bus stop I'm currently as you're welcomed to do so. Just click on this link below and you'll find it.
